Traffic quality

RecoEarn Publisher Standards

RecoEarn is designed for attributable performance marketing. Members must use honest promotion methods, declare the source of their traffic and follow the rules attached to each advertiser offer.

Declare your traffic source

Before a network offer is enabled, RecoEarn may require the website, social profile, channel or other source that will be used. A stable internal identifier is attached to that source so traffic remains traceable.

Offer rules come first

An advertiser can restrict specific promotion methods. If an offer prohibits a method, that restriction applies even if the method is otherwise permitted on RecoEarn.

Keep evidence

RecoEarn may request a source URL, placement screenshot or explanation of how traffic was generated during a quality review. A source can be paused while a review is in progress.

One source, one stable identity

Do not create or rotate identities to dilute quality metrics. If one source causes a problem, RecoEarn can block that source without affecting unrelated compliant sources.

Make advertising obvious

Where a RecoEarn member's content is affiliate advertising, the commercial nature must be clear before a person engages with it. In UK-facing social, video, blog or similar content, a clear upfront label such as Ad is normally the safest approach unless the advertising nature is already unmistakable from the context.

Do not hide a disclosure after a “more” cut, at the bottom of a long post or only on the destination page. If only part of a page or post is affiliate advertising, identify the relevant affiliate-linked content clearly.

Prohibited practices

×Fraud, fake orders, fabricated leads or deliberately misleading conversion activity.
×Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, click-spamming, hidden redirects or attribution manipulation.
×Rotating or masking source IDs to hide the real origin of traffic.
×Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging or promotion that breaches the rules of the channel being used.
×False, misleading or unsubstantiated claims about a brand, product, price, discount, availability, scarcity or likely earnings.
×Brand bidding, paid-search activity, incentives, cashback, self-referrals or other methods where the specific advertiser has prohibited them.
×Passing offers to another reseller or network in a way that makes the ultimate traffic source untraceable.
×Impersonating RecoEarn, an advertiser, affiliate network, employee or official representative.
×Promoting an age-restricted, regulated or otherwise restricted product unless RecoEarn has expressly enabled that offer and the member can lawfully promote it.

How enforcement works

A source or referral link may be paused immediately when traffic quality is in question.
Pending commission can remain pending while the upstream advertiser or network validates the transaction.
Rejected, reversed or fraudulent transactions do not become withdrawable earnings.
Serious or repeated violations can lead to source blocking, removal from specific offers or account restriction.
Where practical, a member may be asked for evidence or an explanation before a non-urgent permanent restriction is applied.

These standards are platform rules, not a statement that RecoEarn has been approved by any specific affiliate network. Network and advertiser-specific terms also apply when an offer is made available.
