Affiliate Disclosure

RecoEarn is a performance-marketing platform. When a qualifying purchase, lead or other advertiser-defined action is attributed to a RecoEarn referral, RecoEarn may receive commission from the advertiser or an upstream affiliate network.

The basic money flow

Advertiser-funded commission → RecoEarn → approved member reward + RecoEarn margin

A displayed or pending reward is not guaranteed until the relevant advertiser or network validates the transaction under its programme rules.

We may earn commission

RecoEarn can earn money when someone follows a tracked referral and completes a qualifying action with a participating advertiser.

Members may receive a share

Where an offer shows a member reward, RecoEarn may share part of the approved commission with the member whose valid referral generated the transaction.

Returns can reverse rewards

Cancelled, returned, duplicate, fraudulent or otherwise ineligible transactions can be rejected or reversed by the advertiser or network.

Offer rules vary

Commission rates, validation periods, permitted promotion methods and eligibility are controlled by the specific offer terms and can change.

When a member shares an affiliate link

Affiliate advertising must be obviously identifiable where required by the rules that apply to the content. For UK-facing social posts, videos, blogs and similar content, the safest default is a clear upfront label such as Ad before the audience engages with the promotional content.

A disclosure should not be buried after a “more” cut, hidden among hashtags or left until after the affiliate link has already been presented. If only part of a page is affiliate-linked advertising, that part should be clearly identified.

Disclosure by members

Members are responsible for making any disclosure required by law, advertising rules, platform rules or an advertiser when sharing referral links. Promotional content must not imply that a member is the advertiser, an employee of the advertiser, or otherwise officially endorsed unless that is actually true.

RecoEarn does not promise any level of income. Earnings depend on valid tracked activity, advertiser approval, programme terms and the member's own promotional activity.
