RecoEarn Privacy Notice
This notice explains the personal data used to operate RecoEarn, attribute affiliate activity, protect the platform and administer member rewards.
Last updated: 8 September 2026
1. Who is responsible for your data
RecoEarn is operated and managed by Essor AWD. Essor AWD is responsible for deciding how personal data collected through the RecoEarn platform is used. Privacy, support and data-rights enquiries can be sent to EssorAWD@gmail.com. Before unrestricted public launch, this notice will also include the appropriate postal contact details and clarify whether Essor AWD is the formal legal entity or a trading name.
2. Personal data we may process
- Account data such as name, email address, account identifier and authentication information managed by our authentication provider.
- Publisher-source data such as websites, social profiles, channels, source identifiers and evidence supplied during traffic-quality reviews.
- Referral and attribution data such as referral-link IDs, click timestamps, referrer information and identifiers passed to approved affiliate networks.
- Conversion and reward data such as transaction references, advertiser, sale value, commission, status, reversals and payout history.
- Payment or verification data needed by a payout provider. RecoEarn should avoid storing full bank-card or bank-login credentials itself where a regulated provider can handle them.
- Technical and security information such as device/browser information, logs, abuse signals and records needed to investigate fraud or protect accounts.
- Support and compliance communications you send to RecoEarn.
3. Why we use personal data
- To create and secure accounts and provide the RecoEarn service.
- To generate referral links, attribute activity to the correct member and calculate rewards.
- To exchange necessary tracking and compliance identifiers with affiliate networks and advertisers.
- To detect fraud, protect the service, enforce programme rules and investigate disputed traffic or transactions.
- To administer payout requests, accounting records and legal or tax obligations.
- To respond to support, privacy and compliance requests.
- To improve the platform using proportionate operational analytics. Non-essential device tracking will not be enabled without the consent or other legal basis required by applicable law.
4. Lawful bases
Depending on the activity, RecoEarn may rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with a legal obligation, or consent. Legitimate interests may include fraud prevention, security, service improvement and administering a transparent performance-marketing platform, balanced against the rights of affected people.
5. Who data may be shared with
- Hosting, database, authentication, communications, security and payment service providers acting for RecoEarn.
- Approved affiliate networks and advertisers where identifiers or transaction information are required for attribution, programme compliance, fraud review or commission validation.
- Professional advisers, regulators, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where disclosure is legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights and prevent fraud.
RecoEarn will not sell personal data to advertisers. Affiliate partners may receive limited attribution or source information because it is necessary to operate and police the affiliate relationship.
6. International transfers
Some technology, affiliate-network or payment providers may process data outside the UK. Where UK data-protection law requires safeguards for a restricted transfer, RecoEarn will use an appropriate transfer mechanism or rely on another lawful exception.
7. Retention
Data will be kept only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected for. Account data may be retained while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; financial, fraud and compliance records may need to be kept longer where law, tax rules, dispute periods or affiliate-network requirements justify it.
8. Your rights
- Ask for access to personal data held about you.
- Ask for inaccurate data to be corrected.
- Ask for deletion where the law gives you that right.
- Ask for processing to be restricted in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests in certain circumstances.
- Request data portability where applicable.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier lawful processing.
- Complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office if you believe your data-protection rights have been infringed.
To exercise a privacy right or ask a data-protection question, email EssorAWD@gmail.com.
9. Fraud and automated signals
RecoEarn may use automated signals to identify unusual clicks, accounts, sources or transactions for review. A risk signal does not by itself prove wrongdoing. Where a decision has a significant effect and applicable law gives a right to human intervention or challenge, RecoEarn will provide an appropriate review route.
10. Security
RecoEarn uses access controls, row-level database permissions, server-side secrets and other technical measures intended to limit unauthorised access. No online system can promise absolute security, so security controls and supplier access will be reviewed as the platform develops.
